Three marinas provide fuel and various supplies to visitors. Belton Lake Outdoor Recreational Area is a park that offers a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, and hiking. Visitors can also take a stroll along the scenic Belton Dam and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding landscape. University of Mary Hardin-Baylor

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) is a private, Christian university located in Belton, Texas. It was founded in 1845 and is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. The university has an enrollment of over 3,000 students and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields including business, education, nursing, and the humanities. UMHB is known for its strong emphasis on faith and service, and many of its programs include opportunities for community engagement and service learning.
