Three marinas provide fuel and various supplies to visitors. Belton Lake Outdoor Recreational Area is a park that offers a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, boating, and hiking. Visitors can also take a stroll along the scenic Belton Dam and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding landscape. Dead Fish Grill is a fantastic restaurant to enjoy a seafood dinner with a gorgeous view overlooking the lake.
The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (UMHB) is a private, Christian university located in Belton, Texas. It was founded in 1845 and is affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
